Come join us at Avaya Stadium on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 for the first game in the 2017 Heritage Cup! The game starts at 7:15 pm, but the parking lots open 4 hours prior to kickoff, so if you’re a fan of tailgating, come early and celebrate.
Guess what? It’s also Hall of Fame Night! Longtime Earthquakes goalkeeper Joe Cannon will be inducted into the Quakes Hall of Fame, and the first 5,000 fans to enter will receive Joe Cannon Hall of Fame t-shirts. Check the Earthquakes Matchday page for more info.
Not sure what the Heritage Cup is? In short, it’s a fan-driven, friendly competition that utilizes regular-season games between MLS teams that have retained their NASL identities. So far, San Jose and Seattle are the primary competitors, battling it out for the trophy designed by fan Rob Stevenson. For more info and this year’s rules, check our Heritage Cup project page.
