PRESS RELEASE

America SCORES to be recipients of "SSV Kidzone" seats for the MLS San Jose Earthquakes game on April 18th at the Oakland Coliseum against the Los Angeles Galaxy

Soccer Silicon Valley Community Foundation is pleased to welcome 50 children and families from the America SCORES as their guests in the SSV Kidzone seats for the MLS San Jose Earthquakes game on April 18th at the Oakland Coliseum against the Los Angeles Galaxy.

"Soccer Silicon Valley, through our community foundation and in partnership with the San Jose Earthquakes, has set up a program to bring 50 deserving kids to every Earthquake home game," says SSV Kidzone Chair Lloyd Danon. "Because of the deserving children that America SCORES serves, we selected America SCORES to receive tickets for free admission to the game."

"We are really excited to be working with the team’s fans through SSV Community Foundation on the Kidzone," says Earthquakes Executive Vice President David Alioto. "We are pleased with the choice of America SCORES as a deserving program for this partnership."

About America SCORES:
America SCORES empowers students in urban communities using soccer, writing, creative expression, and service-learning. With teamwork as the unifying value, we inspire youth to lead healthy lifestyles, be engaged students, and become agents of change in their communities. We develop programs that use the world's most popular sport, soccer, to energize and inspire public school students. All of our programs require that our children use the teamwork they learn on the soccer field to support each other as poets and authors in the classroom. The combination is unique and it works. Every day, SCORES programs are creating a bond between thousands of our students and their classmates, their teachers, their schools and their communities.

The SSV Kidzone is a collaborative effort between the fans and the San Jose Earthquakes, who have made significantly discounted tickets available to SSVCF for purchase in the SSV Kidzone.
